Well, when i first heard this song, I initially thought it was about suicide, but then I saw some pics from the video shoot. I not too sure but i think this song about sexual abuse in the church. "A memory of sunday class, resurrected from the past" could be about the victim remembering the abuse and "the Devil" is alluding to the Priest who's "the abuser" cause the line is "A Devil in a midnight mass,
who preyed behind stained glass" or maybe I'm a dumbass who doesn't know anything. Well, when the video comes out maybe it will make sense. |
