Michelle Branch – This Way Lyrics | 15 years ago |
It's a great song. I'm absolutely in love with it. The lyrics posted here aren't correct though - I'm trying to figure out how to edit them now. Here are the correct lyrics (as I am sure they are, anyway): I don't know how long it's been going on I don't know how long colors were changing to grey It's kind of funny that I act this way I don't know how long you've been holding on I don't know how long everything's been my fault It's getting easier to take the blame It's getting easier to try and change Too many times I have told you that I was okay But I'm finally feeling like I can explain myself I'm not claiming that I know everything No I'm not, because you made me this way I don't know how long I can justify I'm tired of making up reasons you're not on my side And I would never talk to her that way No I would never talk to her that way Too many times I have told you that I was okay But I'm finally feeling like I can explain myself I'm not claiming that I know everything No I'm not, because you made me this way Too many times I have told you that I was okay But I'm finally feeling like I can explain myself I'm not claiming that I know everything No I'm not, oh Too many times I have told you that I was okay But I'm finally feeling like I can explain myself I'm not claiming that I know everything No I'm not, because you made me this way You made me this way I don't know how long it's been going on |
Aly & AJ – Chemicals React Lyrics | 18 years ago |
This totally fits my current situation. It's a very meaningful song. One about a confusing relationship. |
The Wreckers – Crazy People Lyrics | 18 years ago |
"Only Crazy People Fall in love with me They Come From all over To be with me Bank robbers and killers Drunks and drug dealers Only crazy people Fall in love with me" -Pretty self explainatory "He Came from Carolina On a west-bound freight train He didn't have no ticket but he got here the same He left a reminder With Nine months to go That's why I killed his wife and wrecked up his home" -Explaining where he came from. Then she says how he knocked her up, so she killed his wife to be with him "He Fled Mississippi With me at his side A Trunk full of money and no place to hide Well he loved his whiskey and his fists loved my face So I buried that man And they won't find a trace " -He liked to beat her sp she got rid of him |
The Wreckers – The Good Kind Lyrics | 18 years ago |
It's "And I just craved being weak", not, "And I just cried, being weak." It's a very good song. I have been listening to it all day, contemplating it's meaning and whatnot. The lyrics are sensational, breath-taking. |
Pat Benatar – We Belong Lyrics | 18 years ago |
How was this song never commented on? It's beautiful. |
Pat Benatar – Hell Is For Children Lyrics | 18 years ago |
It's a powerful, meaning song. It's about child abuse, and it's one hell of a song. |
Pat Benatar – Shadows Of The Night Lyrics | 18 years ago |
"You can cry tough baby, it's all right You can let me down easy, but not tonight" This line is one of my favorites. Amazing song, the words are beautiful. She's an amazing artist, and makes it meaningful. |
Michelle Branch – Hotel Paper Lyrics | 18 years ago |
It's just an amazing song. Word's cannot describe the simplicity in it, but she makes it absolutely beautiful. |
The Wreckers – Leave The Pieces Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I meant south, as in, going bad. Not South like, Alabama south.... |
The Wreckers – Leave The Pieces Lyrics | 18 years ago |
This song is an amazing one. I am a huge fan of Michelle Branch and this song is totally her, the lyrics and whatnot. I believe it's about being in a relationship, though it goes South. And rather than drag it out and create more heartache, they should let it go before it goes any farther, causing more pain to both. |
Mandy Moore – Could've Been Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Tiffany originally made it, and Mandy Moore made a remake. So it's Tiffany's song, she originally sang it, and Mandy Moore sings it also. |
Mandy Moore – Only Hope Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Amazing. It brought the movie to what it is. It made the movie. |
Céline Dion – It's All Coming Back To Me Now Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I agree with Megnificent. I've seen the music video. Just beautiful. |
Michelle Branch – Everywhere Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I think it's about a dream. She dreamt about some boy, and she can't get him out of her head now. He's everywhere to her. |
Kelly Clarkson – Breakaway Lyrics | 18 years ago |
It's a great song. She's trying to break out of her shell, change and take a risk to become better. |
Ashlee Simpson – Nothing New Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I think it's perhaps about abuse in a relationship. Maybe not physical, but verbal. Like, they got into a fight, and she's screaming at him, telling him to let it out. He can dish it but can't take it when she brings the truth to him. She says he acts like she's the horrible one while he's a saint, when it's the other way around. And this happens often. I'm probably way off, but that's my interpretation of the song... |
