MyShadow! thankyou for the prompt reply, that is definately the story i meant. i dont think the song does have anything directly to do with the story, but i do believe it uses it as a reference. to my mind it seems there are many biblical references in this; call me cpt obvious. and the attention to 'right in two' also seems to be an odd aspect to view our greed, and negative states of mind. having read the story of king S again, it makes even more sense as an analogy of modern life. namaste |
