The Beatles – Revolution 9 Lyrics

I read somewhere that this are the sounds of a revolution going on (I wouldn't say he was also experimenting). Towards the end in which there's a crowd chanting, I heard 'light that chair'. Change...execution...i guess the songs does have something to do with a revolution. |

The Beatles – Sun King Lyrics

Does anybody know if this song has anything to do with Louis XIV (The Sun King)?
And I love the part where it says 'Everybody is happy...everybodys laughing', I can't help but smile. |

I have a very small detail to add that wasn't mentioned before. When Ringo yelled "I GOT BLISTERS ON MY FINGERS" it was after 18 takes and he threw his sticks across the room before he said it. |

The Beatles – I Am the Walrus Lyrics

. From what i read from, this song was originally about three ideas. the first one was about lennon sitting in a cornflake(where did he come up with this?) the third one was the idea lennon got by listening to a police siren, singing "Mr. Policeman...", and the third one was oubviosly "I AM THE WALRUS". They were soppused to be three different songs, but he merged it to be -="1"=- song.
. The actuall meaning of this song is:
. NOTHING |

Sorry about that earlier, really random coment.
But i actually think this song is about how people take the mockery and suck the pain to them selves when something is promised. But then, that promise is broken and get nothing in return.
one last comment. i think they went down after they deciced to pair up with this asshole from Jay-Z. I really think he should get shot and be burned while he is still alive. :) |

Nirvana – Heart-Shaped Box Lyrics

Form what i heard of, i think the song has a lot to do with Courtney. Bassically on saying how she got kurt trapped in this heart shaped box. As people said earlier, she presented Cobain with this heart shaped box to draw his attention, which than worked. There are also verses that have a lot of meaning. For example:
"Hey!
Wait!
I've got a new complaint.
Forever in debt to you priceless advice"
Here it was saying on how one of his friends told him not to date Courtney. But he didnt listen, so he just ended up in debt for this very 'valuable' advice.
But in the end, nobody will REALLY know what he was thinking when he wrote this song. Trust me, i know. As a visual artist, I sometimes draw a picture. Than people would come up with the most random metamorphotical shit, and im like 'WTF?'. What i'm saying is that kurt was just possibly skrewing around with words, that is what made his songs so crative and productive.
Nothing good comes out when you try, so kurt wasnt really "working hard" on this song, this song just happened. The lyrics may have had some good meaning to it, but people just tend to over-analize it and come up with a bunch of wierd crap, but the cancer babies stuff, must've been something he had in mind during the making of the song so it casually got into the lyrics as did Courtneys part. |
