i think this song is good not the best on the album but definatlly really good i love the start i love all of it but i like it especially when you acn just hear his voice at the start and then gradually the music builds up.i love conor he is so talented.i love him i love him.i don't really think of a meaning the song is to good to think about that i don't really think this was an album that was supposed to have great meaning not like lifted or wide awake........... yeah anyway great song great song my mum loves it.lol |

well i have this guy friend and he is cathiloc and he went to a catholic school right from pre school and his family are like really into the whole catholic thing he doesn't like religion and it has definatly fucked him up he drinks a lot.i'm not saying all catholics do just a lot do honestly i find there religon ridiculos how can contraception be against your religion.crazy. |

oh my god thankyou tripoli i was scrolling down reading all the meanings thinking self improvement is masterbation.i love fight lub in fact i just watched it how strange.i really don't like bard pitt so it took me a while to get over that and watch it but now i guess he's not that bad. especially after the part where they threatened to cut that guys balls off and brad pitt was like DO NOT FUCK WITH US.that was so, well, cool yeah cool. anyway grea song but i don't think it matters if john a hobsen was conor's friend or an actual person as long as you undersatnd the message. |

i like this song but i think it just kinda depics what us young people do with our lives hanging out looking cool, sometimes i can't escape from room diners crners etc. i don't think it's about love or deep and meaningful relatioships just everyday i don't really know you not that i want to.he likes her but he not enough to really really know her.But i don't know the secret stars so i'm probably wrong as usual but that is what it means to me.death cab are so awsome. |

I think the yellowbird thing is like a refrence to someone he has dreamt of all his life but no has ever really lived up to that, and then he met them (yellowbird).your the yellowbird that i've been waiting for.I don't like to read to much into his lyrics incase i'm wrong and it ends up meaning nothing or the complete opposite.like someone who has meet him and knows for sure what the song or lyrics mean i would hate to dissappiont conor.what am i talking about he doesn't and never will know me so he has no reason to be dissappionted. i wish i could stop thinking.i think all of you have very good interpratations of the song(s). |
