This song to me is about being in a relationship that isn't really going anywhere, that though they enjoy eachother's company there's no surprises left and they're basically coasting along and he feels she's just with him because she "likes the idea of someone around". The singer is bored of the relationship and knows he should end it, but doesn't have the guts to "risk loneliness" I love it. |
