Matt the Electrician – Milo Lyrics
|
Well I saw on a live version on youtube that when his wife was pregnant she wanted to name their son-to-be Milo. Matt asked why and she replied with, "Because it's pretty." Matt didn't like the answer and they eventually decided on something else. He wrote this song after she suggested Milo.
I'm a strong believer in interpreting songs however you want to. When I first heard this song I got the idea that this guy, Milo, was that guy you know who was always the good guy in the group. Especially in the lines: "He's a nice guy And he speaks well And I, would do well, to be more like him." Just my ideas. |

Kj-52 – Dear Slim Pt. 2 Lyrics

Shane108- No. You're dead wrong. Eminem did not write a reply/parody of this. This song is supposed to be done in the same way Eminem did "Stan." Stan was out way before the first song by KJ.
On another note, I think that KJ got his point across in the first song. There is no need for "part 2" and this one feels a lot more like he is harping on Eminem rather than trying to talk to him. Also, I feel like he has been trying to shove the bible and christianity into Eminem's face, which ticks me off, but, its not out of the character for Christian Genre Musicians... |

Shane108- No. You're dead wrong. Eminem did not write a reply/parody of this. This song is supposed to be done in the same way Eminem did "Stan." Stan was out way before this song, and KJ-52 even brings up "Stan" in the second line of the song:
"My name ain't Stan son, nah we've never met."
So no, Eminem did not parodize or reply to this song. |

Everyone has to download the live version off of the evilive record. during the show, the audience was throwing cans and stuff at the band, because they had done the same to Bobby Steele previously. So partway into the song, Glenn gets hit, and he looks at the kid who did it and yells "One more fucking time you asshole and you DIE!!!" its hilarious |

Misfits – London Dungeon Lyrics

Glenn and Bobby went to see The Jam play at The Rainbow in London. A group of skinheads started a fight with them before the show so Glenn grabbed a piece of glass from a nearby broken window to fight them off while Bobby ran to get the police. Both Glenn and Bobby were arrested by the Metropolitan Police for threatening behavior, as documented on their record: "ON SUNDAY THE 2nd OF DECEMBER, AT HORNSBY ROAD N7 USING THREATENING BEHAVIOUR, WHEREBY A BREACH OF THE PEACE MAY HAVE BEEN OCCASIONED." CITING TO SECTION 54(b)METROPOLITAN POLICE ACT 1839 They were thrown in Brixton jail for two days, at which time Glenn wrote "London Dungeon."

If anyone cares...here is the translated lyrics from Non Standard Latin, to English
"ancient formulas of exorcisms and excommunications
That witches and those made wolves believe
I maim now the demon clothed in wolfskin
Having to hide in the hollow of a tree
I believe that they so can be changed." |

I live in NJ, and no, the Nike Missle Base is no longer in service. It was shut down a while ago, but it is a local legend. The misfits are from Lodi, and the missle base is in East Hanover, which is about a 45 minute drive away... |
