Jay Gordon – Slept So Long Lyrics | 18 years ago |
To say the least, it could easily be a song in reference to a vampire. But you could easily make a comment about someone having an affair. The entire "Touching" alive phase is thre refreshment of enjoyment, but the dying inside is the regret of the moment. Then for example the other party in the affair has betrayed him. I dunno, I love this song. |
Regurgitator – Just Another Beautiful Story Lyrics | 18 years ago |
You can almost say it's an atheist's theme song! >_> |
Alex Lloyd – Never Meant to Fail Lyrics | 18 years ago |
wow, because we have different opinions to you that must make us idiots? There can be many meanings to the song, and people interpret things differently. |
KoЯn – Liar Lyrics | 18 years ago |
If this song was about Head, she would be God, referring to God as a female seems to be more common these days and the blind faith thing makes sense as well. However, I believe it's just about blind love. |
Fear Factory – Self Bias Resistor Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I think it's more about standing up against mediocrity and conformity. To stop living the life they want you to live, to not grow up and do something special or take something seriously. Unfortunately in today's society, to do things your way obviously seems to make you a 2nd class citizen, who isn't living a life filled with lies. |
Green Day – American Idiot Lyrics | 18 years ago |
GREEN DAY'S FIRSTALBUM WAS IN 1992? YOU MEAN, THEY AREN'T NEW? /me slits wrists Obviously Green Day have jumped on the "We know shit all about politics but decided we'd make a song letting the people know we hate it even though we know nothing and don't actually do anything to *solve* the problem" Nuff said |
Cake – Sheep Go To Heaven Lyrics | 18 years ago |
"It uses the tools and implements of ancient architectural craftsmen symbolically in a system of instruction designed to build character and moral values in its members. Its singular purpose is to make good men better" I got this off a site on masons. I think this is what refers to "The stone masons do all the work" IF what Chyland is thinking (What I'm thinking as well) is correct. |
The Strokes – On The Other Side Lyrics | 18 years ago |
On the Other Side, I believe that bit refers to heaven/hell. Maybe I'm wrong, but that seems to be the impression to me =/. One of the better songs on the album though. |
Fort Minor – Get Me Gone Lyrics | 18 years ago |
The thing I see with this, is that it could've been made into a song, but why? Look what the next song is. High Road... It makes perfect sense to not make this a *song* as such. Thank *insert something powerful* that people agree with me =) |
Green Day – American Idiot Lyrics | 18 years ago |
There was an Anti-George Bush Band Wagon? Why did no one tell me about this! =/ |
Fort Minor – Get Me Gone Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Bryn: I don't think the song was meant to be a "Song" as such, but rather an intermission insult to record labels and the media who give him shit and stuff, and to see how far he's gone by being original and with Linkin Park for sticking to their guns. It's a hilarious intermission, and I don't think it needs anything else. Especially with High Road being the next song. Gives that intro feeling to it. |
Alex Lloyd – Never Meant to Fail Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Most people that fall in love in a relationship think that their love will never fail. They think their love is indestructable and nothing will come between them. Indirectly quoting bigdatfaz, when reality sets in and fights etc. do occur, it makes you say that we were never meant to fail as a couple. I think it's a very catchy song and probably his best piece since Amazing. |
Marilyn Manson – Vodevil Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Firstly, about the Manson thing. It is really a new phase to Manson's life. He seems to be a happier guy in general. Secondly, to all the hardcore fanbois, I'm sure you'd bitch and complain saying "Why is he churning out the same shit over and over" if GOAG was exactly like the other albums. I would go insane if I heard multiple albums sounding the same. Onto to song, to me, the first verse is on what other people think of him, in which he goes later on to say Whoop-Dee-Fucking-Doo, the feelings are mutual. To me, it's probably a great song for a finishing *song* on the album. Icarus: I do like the Bowie thing. It actually fits in right. |
