In my humble opinion this song is not about committing suicide. It is about having nothing to live for. I believe its about saying goodbye to the world, to become an empty shell filled with the essence of empty. About letting one's mind slip into the warmth of death, while the body lives in the cold. I choose to think so, because the music doesn't take an end. It just keeps on getting lower and lower, imaginably still there all the time, as an empty entity. Letting my mind slip into the warmth of death, my body is here, but I am not. |
