This song is so gorgeous. I think it's about leaving one relationship and getting into another. Maybe "you" is a woman he is having an affair with. She is telling him to "fade" out of the life of the woman he is cheating on. He starts to "fade" and she tells him to "stay", then "you" is back there comforting him: "its, ok". |

This is the first of his songs that I heard (Topping off at four now) and I really like it. It sounds like...well, like a fight. In a relationship. And that he wants to move past it, perhaps because he's worried that it will ruin the relationship. He realizes that it's one of those things "agree to disagree", and that they just need to move on. |

Wow, I thought this song was nice, but then I heard the "I got no business being here with you this way" part and now I'm ANGRY! Jeez. Okay, so I'm thinking this is about a guy who has a problem with cheating. He's with some other girl, and the "moment", the good part about them together, has gone away and he's feeling guilty. So now he's thinking "Oh, I really need to go home and make it up to my baby." So, he's kind of fantasizing, but not in a good way, more of in a way he thinks will drive away his guilt. Also, he says "I bet I’ll love her more, Till I walk out that door - again" which makes me think that he knows that he'll get home and be so happy to be with his girl, but when he leaves the house again, he won't find her as satisfying. This song saddens me. |

| Now that I've actually read the lyrics, this song reminds me of the Postal Service song, Sleeping In. Especially the verse (Tourists robbed me of my child) that seems to be about a son being drafted into the war, and the repeated line "Wake up you've got a lot of things to do". It seems like the writer is trying to make us see that society is rather screwy, and we need to do something about it instead of "sleeping in" (As PS says) before it comes back and bites us in the ass. This song makes me type slowly, and think of Spring Break...My mom, sister, best friend, and I went to the beach and made them play this cd over and over. It was like our soundtrack...it was really a great time. This song is also the first on the copy I have, meaning it was the most listened to when I was getting used to the CD. So, it has made quite the impression. Not to mention it's freaking awesome. Jeez, I loves it. |

I think its about him blocking out everyone who doesn't agree with him, and that he really doesn't care what they think. Instead of wasting his time arguing with others whether he's right or wrong, he's "taking the time for a number of things That weren’t important yesterday."
