First off, the guitar parts in this song are freaking awesome! Now the meaning, this song is about a guy going to war, coming back not being able to communicate with the world. He is on life support and he doesnt even know if he is alive or dead. If he is alive, he wishes that God will take him. The womb he speaks of is the life support ("It pumps life that I cant feel") The reason its called "One" to me is because he is now cut off from the world and is now one with himself. |

What I get from this song, is that there are so many problems in this world and something has to be done about it. But nobody seems to be taking the blame and everyone thinks that there is no reason to change ("Why is there no reason we cant change") and by the time somebody realizes this, it will be too late to do anything. Also, I like how this song talks about "Who will take the blame" and then the next song is "We're all to blame" |

First off, I like this cd a lot. Too many slow songs though, but still good. Anyways, to me, this song is describing what im going through right now. I just got out of a six month relationship with somebody I still love very much. We both want to get back together later on down the road. So instead of moping around, I gotta do good now so that I can have a better future with her in the end. |

Im not sure what this song is excatly about. It almost sounds like he is talking about mosh pitting. But I think that it is more universal than that. He might be talking about how violence always ends up being everyones answer for everything. |

Im not sure what the over-all meaning of this song is but the line that sticks out to me is in the chorus. "Now I'm in over my head, with something i said, completely misread, im better off dead." This line to me, everyone can relate to. It saying that he has said things and somebody took it the wrong way and told everyone else about it and its so overwhelming on him. Thats just what I think though. |
