For the people who are saying she's a slut.. she is not a slut, she only appears as slutty because of the media attention she receives. I can guarantee more than half the girls you associate with are exactly like her, or possibly worse. What's wrong with being a girl who wants to have a little bit of fun? And who doesn't make silly mistakes sometimes? Just because she is portrayed as being perfect, does not mean she is, because no humans are perfect. Jealousy takes hold of people and makes them conjure up some pretty harsh conclusions about people that aren't necessarily true. I'm not saying that I'm a great fan of Britney's, I'm just saying that what you say may not be particularly accurate. Being an over-judgemental person will get you no where in life. |

I do agree that the song can be about not letting other people mold who you are, but it has a strange connection to masturbation i think... "Fuck me in my own way." - Masturbating can be considered having sex with yourself. "You should make amends with you. If only for better health." - You know your health class preached masturbation being normal and healthy. haha, i think it's a very weird coincidence. |

| I don't feel that anyone needs to be saying anyone is a "moron" for having their own beliefs on what this song is about. Poetry (song lyrics) is abstract and everyone has their own interpretation of what the song means to them based on their own life and personal experiences. Thus, someone who has not gone through or have knowledge of the Irish history does not understand where you are coming from with your theory about how it is about the war. | |
