i'm not exactly sure what i think of this song (which i love with my entire heart) but i do get the feeling that somebody gets hurt. first off, it talkes about: "and all the times you smiled you said hello and thought i was ok i was planning my final struggle" which makes me think that the two people could have once been in a relationship that has been long dead, and the girl thinks everything is okay and theyre friends and junk. but at the same time the guy is still mad over it and is "planning my final struggle". murder maybe? or rape. the next part that caught my attention was: "when you wake up ill be there when you see me you'll be on your back when you know your already dead. you left me too." ok, so he's gonna sneek up on her in the middle of the night. kinda stalker-ish if you ask me. but what i think happens is either rape or consentual sex, becuase of the "when you see me you'll be on your back" and sometimes 'on your back' is a term for sex. i also get from this that the girl probably ended the relationship from the "you left me too" line. ok, next: "breaking through your basement window" ok, so he's deffenatly broken into her house. "and all the times you left" reassures my theory she left him (maybe multiple times) and now we coem to: "you shook my hand and thought i was your friend i was planning a ending" once again, she thought everything was just fine but he didnt think so. it could be (from the second line) that he was still mad enough, maybe to even kill HER. and the last thing that sticks out to me is: "try and stop the pain but theres never closure by your soul i sing like you could help" i don't know about you, but after somebody breaks up with me, its kinda a bad feeling. sometimes you feel hurt (ie: pain). and sometimes, no matter what you do, you still love that person (ie: never closure). but in the next part, it says "by your soul i sing", by your SOUL not by you. i think she's dead. so to tie everything up, this is what i got: there's a couple in a relationship where the girl breaks it off. and all this time she's thinking that they still have a frienship and that everything is ok when they guy is actually really torn up about it. so he plans to do something. (it could be one of thoies "if i cant have no nobody can" things). so he breaks into her house, rapes/has sexwith her, then kills her, only to find he doesn't feel any better from where he started from. the end. i could be really wrong, but, thats what i think. |

wow. nobody posted. ok...i'll make up for the absence... this is like...the BEST song on the cd. obviously, to me atleast, it's about a person looking back on their last relationship and yet still feeling something for that person. "After all you did, Why would I care? Why should I care? After the pain you caused, Why would I care? Why should I care? " that makes me think that the song was written by the veiw of the person who was broken up with. they're saying that when the other person ended it, it hurt like hell since they felt for them. even know they still love them even though they feel like shit since the person has left. "Loneliness, sadness, and solitude, These are a few of the things I’ve been through. Waiting for anything, everyday, Strange that you don’t seem to feel the same way." another example of bein the dumpee. i mean, after you get left on your ass, your damn well going to feel lonly and sad. and the whole "Strange that you don’t seem to feel the same way" part looks to me like the other person now wants nothing to do with him/her. lastly. "Go ahead take it all (I honestly don’t care at all) Set up and ready to fall (Let it fall)" is practically saying that they still want to make the other person happy and would do anythng for them... it's the story of my life! :) KICK ASS SONG |

ok. this song has some weird signals, but it sounds like suicide to me. "Here I go so dishonestly Leave a note for you my only one And I know you can see right through me So let me go and you will find someone" ok. the first part about dishonestly relates to how to some idiots, suicide seems like the easy way out. and how most families are almost ashamed if one of their reletives kills themself because they see it as an "un-heroic death". the next part about the note is definitly connecting to a suicide note. it's his note to his love about his feelings and why he has to go. and the last part, about letting go and finding another, is saying that once he's dead, sooner or later she will move on and find somebody else to love. well...thats what it looks like to me. |
