A friend of mine sent me this on a mix tape for my birthday in september. We had all just started college, and none of our friends went to the same college. Summer was so much fun, I had been single all my high school live, and I met a boy in the spring and started dating him in the summer. He lived in another state, and was supposed to leave in July, although he stayed a bit longer.
So pretty much Dar looked into the future, possessed me, and took that as a song.

I think he meant that he memorized this, and probably it's the only rap song he has memorized.
I love it. It's the only rap song I've memorized. I had a month where everyone was telling me I said sorry too much, and this song summed up my feelings nicely. I love this girl. |

I met my first real boyfriend at a Ben Kweller concert, where he told us how he wrote it on a plane. The boy left the next day for a state far away on a plane. He left a note, saying that he would be back in my hometown in three months, and he just wanted to tell me he thought the world of me. The day he was flying back I played that song for hours and was very happy. It always makes me smile. |
