yeah, this song was definitley written about his new born baby but you can easily relate it to your own experiences, i know i can. Its for anyone who's had a best, frend, member of their family or anyone else they cae about in hospital. Its abot having all control taken out of your hands and feeling totally helpless because you can't be the one to protect them anymore, your just playing a waiting game. The lyrics "running down corridors through automatic doors got to get to you got to see this through" are just so vivid and real to anyone who has been through the same kind of experience. I just think this is a beautiful sone and can't wait for the album (31st jan), i just wish i could also relate to "i see it in your eyes you'll be alright ", coz it didn't work out that way for me. |
