seen_from_stars i feel the same way! i dont cry everytime i here it but it carries a very strong and sorrowful msg, but at the same time it is hopeful....if we will just do it, but its harder said than done, i don't realy know how to approach ppl ...its confusing. as christians it should be part of our lives, and i need it to become more a part of mine. |

this song has a great msg, and i like the music as well. if they lyrics are good it always makes the music seem better to me. there msg is pretty obvious. there are millions of ppl in this world and every one of us have our own individual problems of life to deal with. sometimes life seems so trivial and you feel sorta like: how can little ol' me (lol) be something significant in the vastness of this world?but then when you think about the sacrifce that Jesus gave for mankind, you realize that you AREN'T just someone "vastly lost in a sea of faces." God knows us better than we even know ourselves and he loves us individually. when he says 'even if only my one heart was all you'd gained..." it further emphasizes his love for us... he would have stilled sacrificed his life even if he knew he would only gain one person, because he had a firm purpose to carry out---"u wuld have still been a man, w\ a reason to willingly give your life." now how could u reject that? i love this song so much. i don't really care that much for kelly clarkson usually, to me it seems like she always has this "fake" air about her, esp in her videos, it jus doesn't come natural with her, but thats jus my opinion....but this song is great. everything about it touches me. at this time in my life i'm about to break away from everything i've known the past 17 years and its intimidating but at the same time i know its something i need to do. (bout to graduate) i have lived in a small town my whole life and alot of the time i do feel like kind of... trapped(out of the darkness, into the light)...i wanna discover the world and get out on my own, and to me thats what this song is about. while i don't know where i'm gonna end up or what the future holds i do have to keep movin, i can't stay in this place forever, and i'll definently remember these ppl i've grown up with, they'll be in my heart somewhere forever. and it really is hard to say goodbye but its inevitable that i make some changes, take some risks...and see what else life holds for me. i could write on forever but i'll quit lol...:) |

i have a foot phobia and i HATE feet. i think they're repulsive! LOL a lil wierd? maybe so but this is the only one of jack's songs that i Don't like, i can't like a song that has toes in the title....i realize theres more to it of course! but the toe thing jus really bothers me...anyone else feel like this? lol i'm makin myself look so stupid |

i luuuv this song! such great lyrics...it really is a beautiful letdown, a bittersweet kinda realization when you see how foolish all ur pride really was and how things of this world are quite insignificant in the face of a God who is much better than anything this world can offer. :) |
