| Actually, Elliott was abused by his stepfather, starting at a young age I believe. I'm not sure about the hallucination part, maybe he's talking about reoccuring thoughts or dreams that he thinks he's hallucinating a past. I know he had problems with that in his later life, but I'm not sure if this song could possibly incorporate that into it because it was written such a long time before. | |
