I saw an interview with Maynard a few weeks ago on Fuse. His comment regarding the meaning of this song, was that, it has nothing to do with the person who is basically throwing their life away.... it's ALL about the person that doesn't understand WHY the suicidal, drug addicted person is doing what they are doing. And that is pretty much all he said. Beofre I saw that, I had a totally different take on the song. SO I guess when it comes to his lyrics, we can all keep on guessing :) |
