i think its about how this guy has just told this girl he likes her, or just kissed her or shown his feelings somehow and she doesnt feel the same. and now they feel really embarressed "You're watching clouds come over you, and I feel it's going down" and hes just wishing that shed let him know she does care "I'm waiting for your healing hand, One touch could bring me round" but he can see she doesnt feel the same "Two different views...". i hope that made sense! if you read the lyrics again with that in mind it makes sense. well to me anyway. haha. good song. i like the beginning especially. |

this is an amazing song. the acoustic version is a million times better though, i gotta say. i guess its cos its so raw and emotional it just sounds better like that. if you havent heard the acoustic, go download it NOW. you know when youre in love and every moment you spend apart seems like an eternity and all you can do is wait till you see the person again? i love the way this song describes that... "You have only been gone ten days, but already I'm wasting away." :D |

i love the lines And you sample concepts like hors d'euvres And you eat their questions for dessert brilliant song! i think its about how she respects someone, especially because they are themselves and stand up for what they believe in. shes kinda saying with this song that she thinks theyre great, no matter what else everyone else thinks of them and that the worlds kind of crazy. its a bit difficult to describe and it probably doesnt mean what i think at all but i still love it! |
