scissor lock is another name for sleep paralysis in some culture. i'm lazy, it's right there on wikipedia though. just something funny i noticed... in reference to the first post. i've done DXM for the past few years. i do it a lot actually (i'm an addict, but it's just something i don't want to quit yet). i'm on it right now, actually, and i don't really agree, but oh well. i've experienced sleep paralysis. i think 5 times in my life. it's the worst feeling i've ever had (well... that and a couple bad salvia trips). it's not like an OBE or anything. you feel trapped in your own body. although the first time it happened to me was before i started doing dxm, most of the times it happened was when i was depressed and binging. when i would not dex for a night, it would happen, i'd wake up and be afraid to go back to sleep. it was a really shitty time in my life. that said, this song, and entire cd mean a lot to me. i can relate, almost to the point where it makes me nervous sleeping when the cd's playing, although it's great for dreams. "auditory hallucinations" i think that's the worst part of it. that or the feeling that there's something right outside your senses. it's just an evil presence. sorry this is so long, hopefully someone will get something out of it. |
