this song is all about innocence. disagree if you want but thats what it is. "What follows me is the whitest lace of light" represents innocence. "begs to be imbrued" is talking about losing innocence (staining with blood). then he "Belongs with all erased" because his innocence is gone. great song |

whats with all everyone and "oh i think this song is about love". The meaning of this song is lost to me, (it could be society) but its NOT A LOVE SONG. in "smile" theres a part "ill set the world on fire and in the burning light i'll write my first love song and i will feel warmth". in other words Davey hasnt written a love song yet.
anyways sorry to rag and its still a kick ass song.
