Tilt – Berkley Pier Lyrics | 13 years ago |
I love this song.. but the lyrics are wrong and most of the ones you google are this version too so this person just probably copy/pasted it. Whatever happened to our walls on the pier? I cry myself alone Should read Whatever happened to our WALKS on the pier? I cry myself ALONG I don't know whoever put the lyrics up but really? Walls on the pier? That doesn't even make any sense! |
Brave Saint Saturn – Estrella Lyrics | 15 years ago |
This is the first time I've heard this song... and I cried... am crying. Those lyrics, "I've never felt so fake," is often how I feel when it comes to my relationship with Christ. With all my heart, I believe, I'm surrounded by supportive Christians, but I struggle to maintain one-on-one time with Christ. And though I find myself talking to God as if he were standing right next to me, I feel lacking. I feel fake. |
Day of Fire – Fade Away Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Oh, wow... I had heard this song before but I didn't realize it was by a Christian band. I never took the time to sit down and listen to it. I just knew it was pretty catchy and had a good sound. This is incredible and I'm glad I took the time out to search it. |
Thousand Foot Krutch – Make Me a Believer Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I think this song is about someone who is going through a hard time in life. All their troubles are finally piling up on them and they want to believe in God. Maybe they've seen others who are happy despite their problems and want this feeling to but just has so much trouble actually believing. |
Thousand Foot Krutch – Move Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Despite your opinion there, mr. zgmf-x24s, this is a Christian song and a Christian band, so this song has everything to do with Jesus. I think Cj has got the right idea. |
Steven Curtis Chapman – O Come, O Come Emmanuel Lyrics | 18 years ago |
For some reason, Every site with these lyrics with the exception of Steven's website, doesn't have the complete lyrics. Here they are: O Come, O Come Emmanuel O come, O come Emmanuel And ransom captive Israel That mourns in lonely exile here Until the Son of God appear O come Thou Dayspring, come and cheer Our spirits by Thine advent here Disperse the gloomy clouds of night And death's dark shadows put to flight Rejoice, rejoice, Emmanuel Shall come to Thee, O Israel Rejoice, rejoice, Emmanuel Shall come to Thee, O Israel |
Rich Mullins – Creed Lyrics | 18 years ago |
This is one of those songs that makes you close your eyes, raise your hands to the Lord and shout to everyone around you with the tears in your eyes that I BELIEVE! |
Nickelback – Figured You Out Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I do like this song. I really think Butheress got it head on. I'm somewhat annoyed by all the posts from people, "this is awful" "these are the worst lyrics ever" "i hate them now b/c of this song." What makes bad lyrics? You don't like them so they're bad? These lyrics just describe many people in life. No, not everyone, just many people in the world. That's the wonderful thing about songs - you can always find ones that relate to you. Music is *expression*. Remember that, Children. Who knows if he wrote them from experience or not. Maybe he viewed a friend go through it. |
Wolfsheim – Touch Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Obviously sexual, I think this song is very sensual. It's sexy and every woman's dream from her lover. |
Wolfsheim – Once In A Lifetime Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I think Televiper has got it right. I do think this song is about God, and as Televiper said, it is certainly not positive. "You took my wife, my unborn son" Who else but a greater being could do such a thing? All of Televipers points were very good and hit it right on the nail as to what the artist was trying to convey. While I may not necessarily agree with the beliefs of the artist, this is a well written, well sung song. It makes for an odd mix of emotions to flow through me leaving me in a state of questioning and curiousity. |
Gwen Stefani – Rich Girl Lyrics | 18 years ago |
This is actually one of the few songs she's released that I like. I really liked the first release but i don't think that caught on too much. Hollaback girl took some getting used to. Cool or whatever it's called was alright. The other two I've heard are completely awful. I think she was also much better with No Doubt. If she was gonna try it on her own, she should've stayed with the punk rockish scene. It fits her better and I enjoyed her more then. There's too many girls doing the type of music she's doing now. She was more unique before. I miss it. |
Third Day – Consuming Fire Lyrics | 18 years ago |
This was the first song I ever heard from them years and years ago. It will always be my favorite by them. This is such a powerful and amazing song. |
MxPx – Grey Skies Turn Blue Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Just for you arguing peoples: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mxpx = MxPx caught the attention of Tooth & Nail Records.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tooth_%26_Nail_Records = Tooth & Nail Records is a Christian rock record label founded by Brandon Ebel in California in 1993 |
MxPx – Grey Skies Turn Blue Lyrics | 18 years ago |
While i'm not entirely sure i would say this song is related to Christianity, i can certainly see the connection. It would be very believeable for them actually. They were originally a Christian punk band way back in the day. Then they switched to mainstream and did announce they were no longer Christian. So I could see it. |
Evanescence – Lies Lyrics | 19 years ago |
"bruce fitzhugh, the vocalist for the metal group living sacrifice" Someone earlier said that he is the one who helps in this song. It makes perfect sense that this song would have Christian references. Aside from the fact that it's blatantly clear, Living Sacrafice started a Christian band for years. I never kept up on them but i did do some reading, so i'm unsure of whether or not they remained Christian in their lyrics or not. I do know they had some mainstream albums. |
Jewel – Absence Of Fear Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I really don't see this song being about God or some other higher being. My hands will adore you Through all darkness, and they will Lay you out in moonlight And re-invent your name I find this lyric to be sexually related... something you'd do with a man, someone you love...If the way i find it is the way it is meant, then it's kinda sick to think that of God or a higher being. |
Godhead – I Sell Society Lyrics | 21 years ago |
There's a couple lines in the chorus that are missing, however, i came here to see what they were :P ~Michelle |
Bad Religion – Broken Lyrics | 22 years ago |
If you don't like it, don't comment on it. Quite frankly, I think Bad Religion rocks and "The process of belief" album is excellent... |
Marilyn Manson – Tainted Love (Soft Cell cover) Lyrics | 22 years ago |
This cover was done very well, the beat he used and his voice .. just perfect. And yes, Twiggy really left from what i'm hearing... Anywho, Look, if you don't like the song, the artist, then why are you over here looking at these lyrics? Just quit your bitching. I don't want to hear it and i'm sure as hell positive most of the other people reading this don't want to hear it either. IMHO, it's not right to discriminate against an artist. That is their work and if you don't like it then go on to something else you like. I highly doubt any of you are making as much money as he is so obviously he's doing something right. And Amnesia, I know how you feel, i'm a girl too ~_^ |
Taproot – I Lyrics | 22 years ago |
This song describes me to a 'T' |
Steven Curtis Chapman – God Is God Lyrics | 22 years ago |
