the name of this song pretty much sums it up...im not sure who it is directly describing. at first i thought that it was talking about army men...but that would be pretty stereotypical..something that anti-flag wouldnt do. the song just describes a party scene and someone shows up, makes a mess...there is no need for violence. |

well do you really want to know what i think? since so many of daveys songs can be interpreted as being about vampires lets think that maybe the "vampire" theme is really just that....a theme. and maybe...this theme is a metaphor for something. it is possible that when davey is feeling bad, upset, angry or something like that he writes about vampires. vampires drain, suck, leech, and LOL i would even venture to say "evil." i doubt that davey is obsessed with vampires, but i think instead he uses the vampire theme to convey a message..(im not quite sure what). i dont think that he meant for us to be debating whether or not they were about vampires, but i think that it could be what fletcher said...but maybe davey was trying to say that through his vampire thing. |
