Colour Coding are a Sydney-based indie pop duo made up of cousins Chris Holland and Tim Commandeur. Both members of Colour Coding began their musical adventures playing in and writing for Gold Coast-based ARIA Award-winning band Operator Please. In 2011, they began writing for their own project, Colour Coding, consequently releasing their self-produced debut EP 'Proof' in 2012. After the warm reception of songs such as 'Perfect', 'Kick' and 'Hold Tight', the duo played a number of Sydney shows, supporting bands such as Snakadaktal and Northeast Party House. In 2013, the band were were flown to Manila, Philippines to play Wanderland Festival alongside Temper Trap, Neon Trees and Nada Surf. After the success of this trip, Colour Coding remained in the Magic FM Top 30 chart for several weeks and reached the #1 position on Astroplus' International Chart and #2 position overall for album sales in The Philippines. Working with producer Jean-Paul Fung (Last Dinosaurs, Bluejuice, Glass Towers), the boys recorded a double A-side single for their sophomore release, comprising of singles 'Yours, Not Mine' and 'Hanging On'. Set for release in September 2013, the duo showcase a more developed and full-bodied sound.
