Satan are a heavy metal band that originated from Newcastle, England and they are regarded as a NWOBHM act.

The band has changed their name numerous times, being known as Blind Fury between 1984 and 1985, before reverting back to Satan until 1988 when they renamed themselves to Pariah.

As Pariah they went on hiatus from 1989 to 1997, before changing back to their original name, Satan in 1999.
