I'm sorry but I don't believe the song means any of those things. It feels to me it's the author's love of nature and a recognition that nature is everywhere, and it's inside us, we are made of it, regardless of what we try to do to ourselves. "all over you, all over me, the sun the fields the sky" - to me this has beautiful reference to the power of nature , and how simple air can be the only thing that maintains our lives.

I disagree with interpretations which speak about prostitution. This band is quite intense and cosmic, therefore would not seek musical inspiration through issues pertaining with cheap sex. Rather, I believe the song is about being at one with God, which could exist within oneself. In addition, the lyrics got references towards holding the "tide", which I believe is the general consensus of energies that encompass daily human existence. Dig, the tides which exist through constant motion, like the constant mechanics of human reality, which are often a kind of cycle. Also, dig that the general scheme of things encompass...
