D'yer Mak'er Lyrics
You don't have to go oh oh oh oh oh
You don't have to go oh oh oh oh oh
You don't have to go
All those tears I cry ay ay ay ay ay
All those tears I cry ay ay ay ay ay
Baby please don't go.
It made me mad mad mad
When I read the news that it brought me
It made me sad sad sad
But I still love you so, I can't let you go
I love you- ooh baby I love you
Every breath I take oh oh oh oh oh
Every move I make oh oh oh oh oh
Baby please don't go
You hurt me to my soul ay ay ay ay ay
You hurt me to my soul ay ay ay ay ay
Darling please don't go.
It made me mad mad mad
When I read the news that it brought me
It made me sad sad sad
But I still love you so
And I can't let you go
I love you- ooh baby I love you
You don't have to go oh oh oh oh oh
You don't have to go oh oh oh oh oh
(Baby please don't go)

fav song EVER thats all i can say... these guys were genious

OH MY GOD!!! Is this not the sexiest song ever? I mean, Robert Plant is the sexiest guy and his moaning and groaning in this song are so sexual. The guitar solo makes me want to orgasm it's so great. I love when he screams-"Ooh, baby i love you, ahh!"

the title comes from a joke that goes something like this... "first man: 'my wife and i just got back from a week on an island in the Caribbean.' second man: 'Jamaica?' first man: 'no, she wanted to go.' "
like many other songs by Led Zeppelin, the title really has nothing to do with the lyrics, but the title sort of comes from the sound of the song, which is sort of a Zeppelinized pseudo-Reggae sound.

This is one of my favorite Led Zeppelin song and i cant even pronounce the name. The name remindes me of ice cream for some weird reason. I dont know, maybe im crazy. But this is a great song. Led Zepelin is my favorite band.

Didn't realize I was still such a Zeppelin fan till I read a few posts saying they didn't like this song. Made me think wow!, I can't think of one single Zeppelin song that I don't like. Every one is pretty damn great in a different way. A big part of this song's appeal is just the fact that it's so COMPLETELY unlike ANY of their other songs. No Viking imagery or stories of black magic here. The twisted title and Plant's excessive oh-oh-oh-ing are completely over the top. Who could've guessed these 4 blokes had such a bloody great sense of humor? LED ZEPPELIN WILL NEVER DIE! (And this is from someone who listens to DISCO now.)

One of the songs I just can't get tired of. Masterpiece ;) Led Zeppelin are one of the best if not the best artists of all time. Im their fan for quite a few years now and I haven't heard a song I didn't like so far!!

Is this song pronounced Dier Maker....or Dear Maker?????

it's pronounced "jamaica".
Robert Plant, in an interview, said it was pronounced "D ya make er", as in "did you make her", meaning, "did you make love to her". It was a popular expression back in that time. It was not meant to sound like "Jamaica".

Benecjt.

If you had copied more of that interview you would have seen that it's actually both. It is correctly pronounced "Jamaica", which with the right british accent sounds like "D ya make er". Which is the whole reason the joke is funny, becase it's both.

i believe that "d'yer mak'er" means "did you make her?"

it doesn`t "mean" Jamaica, but it is pronounced the same way.
