Ooh, yeah
Alright
Here we go again
Na-na, whoa, no, da-na, hey, hey, yeah

Give a little bit
Oh, give a little bit of your love to me
I'll give a little bit
I'll give a little bit of my love to you
There's so much that we need to share
So send a smile and show you care
(Alright)

I'll give a little bit
I'll give a little bit of my life for you
So give a little bit
Oh, give a little bit of your time to me
See the man with the lonely eyes
Oh, take his hand, you'll be surprised

Oh, take it
Ah, yeah
Come along
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Come a-
Long

Give a little bit
Oh, give a little bit of your love to me
I'll give a little bit
I'll give a little bit of my life for you
Now's the time that we need to share
So find yourself, we're on our way back home

Oh, going home
Don't you need, don't you need to feel at home?
Oh, yeah, we gotta sing
Ooh, yeah, gotta get a feeling
Ooh, yeah, come along too
Woo

Come a-, come along too, yeah
Come a-, come a-, come a-, come along

Cha-ka-doom, yeah
Ooh, yeah, come along too
Yeah, come along too, yeah
Sing, Betty Lou
Come along too
What a long ride
Come a long way
Oh, sing it, tonight
Ooh, yeah

I love this song, it's awesome! Theres a pretty good cover out by the Goo Goo Dolls, but I like this one more. As for the Jesus theory, it works, but I don't think thats what they meant it to be. It was written by Roger Hodgeson when hw was a teenager, and I'm guessing its about wantong a girl, not about Jesus... but I could be wrong.

Kevin, the Goo Goo Dolls formed in the mid 80s, and "Give a Little Bit" made its first apperance on the 1977 CD, Even in the Quietest of Moments, by Supertramp. If you don't believe me, check it out for yourself. Great song.

FreddieIsMyIdol is right, I\'ve got the original record in my hands right now, it\'s from \'77, and the Goo Goo Dolls formed in \'85. (I\'ve actually double checked it). So, I guess Kevin thinks that the Goo Goo Dolls did a better job then Supertramp. I must say, personaly, I like the Supertramp version better.

    My Interpretation

My favorite song by "Supertramp"! It's about a man who's in love with girl! He's shy to tell her and he's not sure if she has the same feelings for him back!

The man with lonley eyes is none other than Jesus. Look at any pictures of him(I KNOW it's not him) but that's the way He's depicted in all renditions. Very good song!

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Midnight
Ed Sheeran
“Midnight” is a song about finding a love that is so true that it provides a calming feeling through every storm. Ed Sheeran reflects on his good fortunes in landing someone with such peace and support and speaks of not fearing the dark days because he knows they’ll all end in the safety nets of her arms. “Well, good morning there / What a way to start the day / With everything laid bare,” Ed Sheeran sings in the first verse, enthusiastic to be waking up beside his woman. He apologizes for missing her calls in the second verse and promises to return them because for him, speaking to her is the most important thing. “Well, I get lost inside my head / In this chaos, you’re my calm / And I will find my feet again / ‘Cause еven the worst days of my life will always еnd / At midnight in your arms,” sings Ed Sheeran in the chorus, revelling in his good luck.
