Well you're in your little room
And you're working on something good
But if it's really good
You're gonna need a bigger room

And when you're in the bigger room
You might not know what to do
You might have to think of
How you got started, sitting in your little room

General Commentthis song is a great short song, its only like 50 seconds or something, its so reminicient of the 60's. Basically, its about how when something gets big, it rarely has its original roots, its always different when its big. Additionally, i think that this is an unfinished song. I think that they either didnt want to or didnt finish it, cuz its too short, but the lyrics were too good to leave out

General Commentthis song is so brilliant it blows my fucking mind! I can't ever stop singing it. It's like every corny song you ever make up while your waiting for the subway or taking a crap....Or maybe that's just me. It says everything in a minute that most pop songs wish they could say in a fortnight. It's the whole Big fish/small pond...small fish/big pond thing. Freaking brilliant.

General CommentThis song definitely has analogies to fame, but to me it more symbolizes the general ethereality of the creative process. While in the "little room" your creativity thrives on making something good out of next-to-nothing, you still can't help but wonder what you could accomplish if you had more; but when you finally have access to more, you can get overwhelmed by the options available to you. Sometimes your only recourse to get back to that state of creativity to is to strip back down to the bare essentials.

General CommentAs far as I can tell, it's about the Stripes' growing fame. I don't particularly like this little song, but I love the album as a whole.

General CommentStrange, i absolutely adore this song. It sounds so...raw ? But then, isn't that all of their stuff though ? Perhaps my love of this song stems from the first time i heard it - roaring across the blue mountains at christmas during the massive sydney bushfires of 2001, with flames licking at the side of the car and blackened firefighters running desperatly everywhere. Anyway, thats enough rambling for now. I maintain, it is an awesome song.

General CommentI like this song , sure its not their best but it describes something so simple that most people overlook it. It's sort of saying 'If you become something big don't forget where you're from ...'

General CommentIt may be simple, but aren't all the White Stripes' songs? Not that that's a bad thing - I can't stand over-wordy songs. I actually really like this little ditty...

General CommentYeah, it's actually growing on me the more I listen to"the album. Did you hear that they found Meg and Jack's marriage license? I really thought they were siblings, man. gloriousnoise.com/
