Supervixen Lyrics
You can always pull out if you like it too much
A falling star that you cannot live without
And I'll feed your obsessions
There'll be nothing but this thing that you'll never doubt
I can take you out with just a flick of my wrist
A falling star that you cannot live without
And I'll feed your obsessions
There is nothing but this thing that you'll never doubt
This thing you'll never doubt
The falling star that you cannot live without
I will be your religion
This thing you'll never doubt
You're not the only one
You're not the only one

Ah, mission statement!
And its great to have this point of view represented. Too many lyrics about unrequited love, selfdepreciating love, wasted love and all told from the perspective of the poor wronged or losing party (usually a woman, too) - this one for all the man- and woman-eaters out there. I'm a believer, btw... ;)

Yeah, she sets herself up as a new religion, which is quite a thing to do on the first track of your first album!

^so noted. This is the perfect opening track to a great album. It just sums up their whole sound that definetly sets them apart. Great song. It's also got this great domination vibe to it. "Bow down to me" -need I say more

oh and also garbage have said its written about the russ myer film "supervixens"

Just like the title, this is about a Supervixen. This girl can control boys and control them well. She knows just what to say and just what to do to make you rely on her completely, to make her the only thing you'll ever think you need.

Female Domination

No one has commented on this? Wow. This is one of my favourites, along with Vow and some others.

This is an awesome song - I agree with Octoberclown. It's about a girl who has guys wrapped around her little finger.

i love this song! it's a much needed change from the pop music trend of praising 'supervixens' solely for their outstanding physical features. i like that this song is from the woman's point of view. . . we know exactly how much power we have, but also that it can be abused.

I'd bow down to Shirley Manson. And I'd take a good beating from her. Gladly.
