Hold It In Lyrics
Take a deep breath and hold it in, hold it in
But I made a promise to hold it in, hold it in
Only thing that I can do is hold it in, hold it in
The only thing that I can do is hold it in, hold it in
But life is "Oh my God, if I tell him, he'll tell her, and then she will know I like her!"
Good grief! I don't think that I can take this heartbreak any longer
I will not hold it in
Hooo! Hooo! Hoooo!
Neither one was able to hold it in, hold it in
Everybody's screaming "hold it in, hold it in!"
Ha-hey!
But life is "Oh my God, if I tell him, he'll tell her, and then she will know I like her!"
Good grief! I don't think that I can take this heartbreak any longer
I will not hold it in
Hoooo!
The only thing that He can do is hold it in, hold it in
I'm looking for a bottle to hold it in, hold it in
Ha!
But life is "Oh my God, if I tell him, he'll tell her, and then she will know I like her!"
Good grief! I don't think that I can take this heartbreak any longer
I will not hold it in
Hoooo!

I've seen these guys in concert three times now and I'll be there to see them again. Great stuff this band produces.

i definitely think this song is about life as a teenager, and just growing up in general. as a teen, i can say that life at school pretty much revolves around drama over the opposite sex. also, the lyrics address getting high and questioning the existence of a god, which are things kids face every day. overall i love this song and think it's hilarious :)

i likee the piano in this songg ! :3

Jukebox just played a concert at where I go to school, and Thornewill said that the influence behind this song was that he kept unplugging the amp to his keyboard at concerts (couldn't "hold it in). Whether or not that is true or he was just saying that as a joke I don't know.

It might just be about so many different uses of the phrase "hold it in" ... I think it's really clever
