Beautiful song. maybe im a bit biased because its the me and my girlfriends song, but its just perfect.
This song... is like a deep breath to me. Kind of a break from the normal theme of dysfunctional couples... this song is about promises kept, love, and starting fresh. They've surely both had hard pasts... she bears the scar of hers... but all that matters is this moment for them. So beautiful. Definitely one of my favorites of John's.

It sounds like Blazing, unless he is saying placid with a weird emphasis.
