I think this songs is basicallly about the beginning of a relationship where on e of the people involved can't get close to the other and can't make it work because they cant' reveal who they really are. The other person is reluctant and not sure if they should keep trying to make it work, because it is tough when one person have problems and are reluctant to give themselves.
Great song. I think its about that extra push, that motivation, whatever can help us overcome obstacles. If we just had a little bit of momentum we could do anything. Just mainly about setting your own limits and boundaries on your own terms.
this is a great song. i always think of this song like before like big pressuring events. this song could be about what inaday said, or it could be about a relationship that's just starting where both are unsure and don't know whether they should go on. i dont know.

This is an amazing song..... The Hush Sound is the only band I know of who an use the words "Momentum" and "Inertia" in the same song and not make it sound like a School House Rock video for teaching physicis.... anyway yes the Hush Sound definetly rocks! :D
lol french_dramaqueen, i was thinkin the same thing...how this song's lyrics could relate to physics. haha and that made me think of modest mouse's "she ionizes and atomicizes" or w/e relating to chemistry.
anyway...yeah the hush sound are really original.
I like how he annunciates "dark ocean bottom" in the beginning. And it's spelled out in the cd tray: "Dahkishambahdah"
