Midnight on a beach in the Mediterranean
And I miss you
Even here, taking it all in
The sand's silver carries the moon on it's shoulders
Is it possible to put this night to tune and give it to you?

Don't cry I'll bring this home to you
If I can make this night light enough to move
Don't cry I'll bring this home to you

Cargo ships move by, tracing on the horizon line
There's a lustre from the city lights on the waves that kiss our feet
And we're thinkin' of goin' in
The time's getting thin

Don't cry I'll bring this home to you
If I can make this night light enough to move
Don't cry I'll bring this home to you

This is a city for not sleeping, the clocks are set by feel
At this moment from where I sit, nothing here seems real

Don't cry I'll bring this home to you
If I can make this night light enough to move
Don't cry I'll bring this home to you

General CommentThey miss someone and they wish they could be there with them and share the same emotion they are getting from where they are.

    I love it.

General CommentEvery once in a while I come across a song that zeroes in on all of my senses.
I can close my eyes and feel everything.

My filmy white dress is fluttering in the breeze coming off the ocean. I can feel the mist from the tide collecting on my face and arms. I take a deep breath and fill my lungs with the thick, salty air. The full moons light is cascading onto the sand, there is an eerie glow that comes from a night with a moon like this, it seems to settle amongst the sand, drape itself onto the rocks and driftwood. It's very early morning (probably two o'clock) the reflection of city’s lights are rippling in the tide, I can see a cargo ship lazily drifting on the horizon it’s light and the surreal moonlight being it’s guide.

hahaha, I really don't know where that all came from.
(did anyone else notice that the guitar sounds "oceanish"? It just makes me think of a tide coming in)

General Commentto me this song means its about a girl and a boy going out and right now they are away from each other and they miss each other. I think it also might mean how they live places where its busy and even where thery are they'll stay out all night to be with each other.
But thats just my opinion i have a feeling it may be wrong. Oh well gave it a try.
All in all this song is great makes you think and is a great song to listen to in or out of a relatiuonship. Makes you miss or want that one person.

General Commentsadponygorillagirl got the meaning right on, but he mentions a beach on the Mediterranean, while Pachuca, is a city in Mexico that has no beaches surrounding it...
Perhaps, he is on a beach in the Mediterranean, where it's night time and she's all the way in Mexico around sunrise because of the time difference. Everything else was already said by sadponygorillagirl...
