The new day dawns,
And I am practicing my purpose once again.
It is fresh and it is fruitful if I win,
But if I lose,
Ooh,
I don't know.

I'll be tired,
but I will turn and I will go.
Only guessing 'til I get there,
Then I'll know.
Oh,
I will know.

And all the children walking home past the factories
Can see the light
That's shining in my window
As I write this song to you.
And all the cars
Running fast along the interstate
Can feel the love that radiates
Illuminating what I know is true.

All will be well,
Even after all the promises
You've broken to yourself.
All will be well,
You can ask me how
But only time will tell.

The winter's cold,
But the snow still lightly settles
On the trees.
And a mess is still a moment
I can seize until I know.
That all will be well,
Even though sometimes
This is hard to tell,
And the fine is
Just as frustrating as hell,
All will be well.

And all the children walking home past the factories
Can see the light
That's shining in my window
As I write this song to you.
And all the cars
Running fast along the interstate
Can feel the love that radiates
Illuminating what I know is true.

All will be well,
Even after all the promises
You've broken to yourself.
All will be well,
You can ask me how
But only time will tell.

You've got to
Keep it up,
and don't give up,
And chase you're dreams,
and you will find,
All in time.

And all the children walking home past the factories
Can see the light
That's shining in my window
As I write this song to you.
And all the cars
Running fast along the interstate
Can feel the love that radiates
Illuminating what I know is true.

All will be well,
Even after all the promises
You've broken to yourself.
All will be well,
You can ask me how
But only time will tell.

All will be well,
Even after all the promises
You've broken to yourself.
All will be well,
You can ask me how
But only time will tell.
You can ask me how
But only time will tell.

I am in love with the piano in this. <3 And Gabe's voice, that too. Very smooth and relaxing.

Reminds me alot of Summer Highland Falls by Billy Joel in the structure of the song. Built on rambling minor chords that are in double time of the melody.

To me the song speaks to the goodness in each of us and how even though things get rough and we make mistakes, everything will be alright. Very uplifting.

I first heard this song after my best friend died From an opiod addiction and I found my way to recovery after having had a relapse. "A new day dawn's and I am practicing my purpose once again", the rest of the song reminds me how I miss my buddy so

This song reminds me of my boyfriend, and reminds me once again how much I love him. I just feel love radiating from the song, and encouragement for the one you love. Somehow everything will be okay as long as you don't give up, and stick to the one you love. That's just what I feel from this song.

When he says "And I am practicing my purpose once again" I find that he enunciates the p's...at least on the live version, but anyway I still love this song!!

I kinda like the slower version that is featured in the promo for Conviction (good show, they should've given it a chance). This version has a more uplifting positve feel. You may still be able to find the promo on iTunes. I still watch mine.

I think that this song is written to God. To me, it's about a man who's trying to live his life for the Lord, but not sure if he's succeeding... though desperately hoping to know when he does. "All the cars running fast along the Interstate, can feel the love that radiates, illuminating all I know is true..." This part seems to me like he's praying to be a light to the world, prayinig to be a means for God to show his love to whoever encounters this man. I love this song... it makes so many great points. It's honest about the faith and the tough spots where God doesn't seem as present in life. This guy doesn't seem to have it together or all sorted out, and none of us do... that's God's job. That's why I love it; because he can be uncertain, yet still have the faith never to give up and follow Christ as best he can. Beautiful song, and a fantastic tune ^^ A real winnner.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
