All U Can Eat Lyrics

Son, look at all the people in this restaurant
What do you think they weigh?
Out the window to the parking lot
At their SUV's, taking all of the space

They give no fuck
They talk as loud as they want
They give no fuck
Just as long as there's enough, for them

Gonna get on the microphone down at WalMart
Talk about some shit that's been on my mind
Talk about the state of this great nation of our's
People look to your left, yeah, look to your right

They give no fuck
They buy as much as they want
They give no fuck
Just as long as there's enough, for them

Son, look at the people lining up for plastic
Wouldn't you like to see them in the National Geographic
Squatting bare ass in the dirt eating rice from a bowl
With a towel on their head and maybe a bone in their nose

See that asshole with a peace sign on his liscence plate?
Giving me the finger and running me out of his lane
God made us number one 'cause he loves us the best
Well he should go bless someone else for a while and give us a rest

(They give no)
Yeah, and everyone can see
(They give no)
We've eaten all that we can eat

i love this song and what it says because it not only says what i think, it also has reached a lot of non-American people and shared that point of view with them. not all of us are stupid americans!!!

This song is off his pre-release album Sunny 16.

I love this song. It hits home with me and it is basicly describing some of the "high and mighty" people in America and their habits of caring only for themselves. He's saying that they don't care about anything except themselves and what gives them pleasure.

Ben Folds owns :-)

At the beginning of his career, Ben said that he'd only ever write one love song, and one political song. This is the political song, and The Luckiest is the love song.

This song is great. I think it really expresses a great perspective of an American who is tired of the common American belief that "god made us number 1 cuz he loves us the best." fantastic, fantastic song.

Recently, 7th of September 2006, at Sydney in his Australian Symphony tour he told us, sarcastically of course; "this song was formed from one of my earliest memories in a Dennies restaurant. Now I can see how people would consider this a political song but uhh...I don't really think it is."

By the way - if you have yet to hear him with an orchestra, buy the WASO DVD or something. I can't listen to him without an Orchestra behind him anymore.
