Don't want to wait 'til you know me better
Let's just be glad for the time together
Life's such a treat and it's time you taste it
There ain't a reason on earth to waste it
It ain't a crime to be good to yourself

Lick it up, lick it up, oh, it's only right now
Lick it up, lick it up, oh, ooh yeah
Lick it up, lick it up, oh, come on (come on)
Lick it up, lick it up, oh, ooh

Don't need to wait for an invitation
You gotta live like you're on vacation
There's something sweet you can't buy with money
Lick it up, woo, lick it up
It's all you need, so believe me, honey
It ain't a crime to be good to yourself

Lick it up, lick it up, oh, it's only right now
Lick it up, lick it up, oh, ooh yeah
Lick it up, lick it up, oh, come on (come on)
Lick it up, lick it up, oh, come on

It's only right now (it's only right now)
Ooh yeah (ooh yeah), ooh yeah (ooh yeah), yeah, yeah

Oh, woo

Lick it up, lick it up, oh, it's only right now
Lick it up, lick it up, oh, yeah (yeah), yeah (yeah)
Lick it up, lick it up, oh, come on (come on)
Lick it up, lick it up, oh, woo

Lick it up, lick it up, oh, yeah (yeah), yeah (yeah)
Lick it up, lick it up, oh

It's about living life to the fullest, not letting opportunities pass you by. Not about sex!

The song is about hedonistic behavior, although I wouldn't dare bother intellectualize anything by KISS by commenting further. Entertaining song though...

ahhh, I remember listening to this while playing Tony Hawk UnderGround on the ps2, back then I was innocent and knew nothing about what it meant, it was just a song...now that I'm more grown up, I can't listen to this song without getting certain "images" in my head...btw, for those of you who haven't noticed, most of KISS's songs are about sex, i.e. Rock and Roll All Night, Lovegun,

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
