Yeah, I thought it was "Jack" and not "Terry" Rieley as mentioned earlier. Wow, it's really a song about an orgasm? Well, I suppose "Feel Flows" could be rather "dirty" now that you mention it. Either way, the song is kick-ass...just the way the complex lyrics flow with the music and the beauty of Carl's voice definitely makes this one of the best songs EVER. |

Aside from Kokomo, this was the first song I truly paid attention to by The Beach Boys. A video of the song played one day on VH1 Classic a few years ago, and that pretty much started my partial interest in the Beach Boys. Fast forward to last year and my true interest, now near obsession began. I really want to write like Brian Wilson, which may be all but impossible, but this song is absoultely perfect...If I ever managed to make something this good once, I would probably never compose again. |

I strongly disagree with you, Swing King. Darlin' is definitely one of the Beach Boys best songs. That "unpolished" sound you speak of makes the song even greater. This is definitely one of my favorite songs ever. Carl's voice was simply AMAZING...I wish I could sing like he did. |

In the Live in Boston DVD, if you buy it, she tells the crowd that she's dedicating a song to the person that taught her how to play the guitar she made the song on.
