Regina Spektor – Laughing With Lyrics | 16 years ago |
This is an absolutely amazing song. Regina outdid herself here. The thing is that everyone likes to make fun of God when there is no threat to them personally. However, what's really left to turn to when, for example, the airplane does start to shake? All you have left is God. |
Basshunter – All I Ever Wanted Lyrics | 16 years ago |
How can one song be so cheesy yet so addicting? This is completely a guilty pleasure song. |
Alex Gaudino – Destination Calabria feat. Crystal Waters Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Destination Unknown + Calabria = best dance song ever I like the regular song Destination Unknown too. :) On a different note there really isn't a lot too this song. Talk about wanting to get away from the routine of daily life to a place where you can be yourself. |
Crystal Waters – Gypsy Woman (She's Homeless) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I think the key line in this song is: She's just like you and me, but she's homeless We tend to see the homeless, incorrectly, as not "normal" and immediately judge them as either "dirty" or "lazy". In reality, that person could just as easily be us if something drastic was to go wrong in our own lives. |
Jesus Christ Superstar – Everything's Alright Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Her voice is so beautiful in this song and the lyrics make me cry - almost. It's an interesting contrast to think about in Jesus' life. Trying to relax yet at the same time (as Judas points out) having a need to help out the needy as much as possible. |
Delerium – Innocente Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Delerium once again can produce absolutely original and haunting lyrics. It's the rain that I hear coming Not a stranger, not a ghost The quiet of a storm approaching That I fear the most Whatever the singer is feeling is already well known to her. It is NOT (1) a feeling she has seen in others but never experienced (not a stranger) or (2) a feeling that has abandoned her only to come back again (not a ghost). I believe that this song is reflective, not so much about mourning or sadness. It is pondering the past and she has a feeling of unease about whatever has happened. |
September – Until i die Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I've always thought these lyrics were a little cheesy, but that's what makes the song good. It's nice to dance to and all about living the life you want. Never look back. "I'll LIVE until the DAY I DIE" - no sh*t, you will? |
Queen – Another One Bites The Dust Lyrics | 16 years ago |
This reminds me of the war at some level. Mostly the people who authorized it. (Are you [they] happy? Are [they] you satisfied? How long can you [they] stand the heat?) Makes you wonder if they are satisfied with every thing that's going on and the civilians that have died. |
The Orb – Little Fluffy Clouds Lyrics | 16 years ago |
On a more obvious level, I think this has a lot to say about the people we "look up to" in modern society. Just the fact that she [allegedly] showed up at an interview on drugs shows extremely bad taste. I think we need to examine famous people, in this case Jones, before we decide we are going to emulate them. |
Aqua – Cartoon Heroes Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This reminds me of celebs for some reason. The bratty and in your face kind like Paris Hilton and Britney. They all seem so rich and famous and totally out of our league. Believing that they are entitled to special things just due to their wealth. |
iiO – At The End Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Certainly a plea to a lover not to give up on her, as well as a reminder that she will always come back to him. |
Ida Corr – Let Me Think About It Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I love the beat. Music video isn't at all horny right -lol? Anyway, obviously about asking for sex. "Let Me Think About It". Seems pretty obvious. |
Moby – South Side Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Firstly, I love this song. It is absolutely CLASSIC. Both the lyrics and the eerie way both Moby and Gwen sing make this a masterpiece. Secondly, yeah, Moby said that it was post- apocalyptic Third, what a crappy music video. It just infuriates me that a MV as bad as that is associated with Southside. |
Madonna – Material Girl Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This song still remains EXTREMELY relevant today. So many people want so much superficial stuff. "A new cellphone, a fourth car, a ton of money." All of us are guily of wasting our money when it should go to charities and environmental causes. |
Plumb – In My Arms Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Wow, I never even thought of the idea that it was parents! I guess I always thought it was a girlfriend singing to her boyfriend about trying to protect him. Storybooks part implies that the speaker is aware that the world is not perfect but wishes it could be like in fairy tales she has heard. |
Delerium – Incantation Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This song is amazing. I love it so much. Obviously, it has nothing to do with literal caverns and the ocean, but more of a warning by the speaker that you should not romantically try to go after her. The speaker would rather avoid someone, then say they aren't interested straight to someones face. |
Kelly Osbourne – One Word Lyrics | 17 years ago |
(Some random French Talking) LOL! I only speak a little French, but it was pretty slurred speech in general. "Do you have all the information?" "One word tells me all I need to know", "Day after day" ... there was other stuff, but I couldn't get it. |
David Guetta – Love Don't Let Me Go (Walking Away) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Must... not... dance. This song is so addicting. |
Anneliese Van Der Pol – Over It Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Firstly, I completely love this song. Up to this point it is the only excellent Disney Song [Aly and AJ don't count and Hannah Montana just sucks imo]. I think this song is about just getting away from our crazy lives for a second. We are always busy and have tons of issues to deal with. Sometimes it seems like the world is going too fast. In my opinion, Van Der Pol is expressing that every once and awhile we should follow a whim and do something exciting and not care about what is going on elsewhere in our lives. We need to get over our problems and just try to lighten up and slow down. |
The Orb – Little Fluffy Clouds Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I love this song. To me, at least, it is about beauty and freedom. It is about seeing or being somewhere where everything is at peace or where you personally find peace, but maybe other people don't. |
Sin With Sebastian – Shut Up and Sleep With Me Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Well, I don't really know about gay, but my interpretation is basically what sex has become these days. People end up having sex for all the wrong reasons and with people they just met, or think they love but are not sure. They do it for a quick thrill. People try to pressure each other into having sex, just so they won't be a virgin anymore. Shut up and Sleep with Me implies the "LETS JUST DO IT" attitude without thinking about consequences or if you really love the person. |
