| i think its a beautiful song, i first heard an acapella version done amazingly by a group on WERS. I know I'm wrong, but to me... the song is about the complete end of something.. a relationship, it's dramatic.. to the point that it almost feels like the lives of these two people have been completely destroyed (they have died, symbolically or whatever.. but there's a lot of talk of the afterlife and burying things).. I like to imagine that the two singing birds in the end are the dying bodies of two lovers singing to heaven... or whatever haha. Yup, that's my weird (morbid!) take on it. :) | |
