DC Talk – Jesus Freak Lyrics

Well, the song has superb lyrics; the rap music just doesn't blend well with the lyrics, since I prefer rock (call me baised, but I just can't see a picture of "Gangsta Jesus"). The majority of the people in this blog had good opinions (hince the word majority). This is kinda like Slayer: Crappy, anti-christian lyrics but excellent music. However, correct me if I'm wrong, I think the Slayer members are Christian. The irony kills me.

Jethro Tull – My God Lyrics	18 years ago
My God is a very touching and personal song. Good music and message on the group's part. The Aqualung album is a great achievement. It's kinda ironic how it is Jethro Tull's best album musically and commercially, yet frontman Ian Anderson though that it was a very immature and technically flawed album by his standards. Go figure.

Great Song. Traffic never did it, though. Blind Faith originally did this one, in which Steve Windwood also was a member with Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, and some other guy.

Traffic – I Just Want You To Know Lyrics	18 years ago
This song has good music in it, but it is just silly when it comes to lyrics. All Steve Windwood says is "I Just Want You To Know, I Just Want You To Know, I Just Want You To Know...." over and over and over. This is an ironic song to come from such a musical genius as Windwood, who is not known for making "filler" songs. Something about this song just screams "FILLER FILLER FILLER!!"

Slayer – Jesus Saves Lyrics

I just had to get this out. I am a Christian, and I think that saying that Christians are arrogant is a bogus statement. The Bible itself condemns Christians that glorify themselves and chastise anti-Christians. I believe that everyone on Earth is a sinner, even me. Ever heard of "False Teachers"? Well, that's what an arrogant, so-called Christian really is. For Pete's sake, I don't go around to atheists and other religious people and tell them "You're Going To Hell and I'm Not!!" That's another thing the Bible condemns. Church is a gathering place for sinners, and you don't have to go to church every Sunday to be saved. Real Christians love EVERYBODY, no matter what. That is my interpretation of Christianity, and it is stated over and over again in the Bible. So please, don't judge all Christians as snobs, because real Christians aren't. Besides that point, I think Slayer is a great, uncompromising Metal Band. Rock on!!
