Shellac – Prayer to God Lyrics 20 years ago
This song is amazing. It is also the first Shellac song that I listened to and I immediately had to get everything else they did. I was totally amazed.

For those who misunderstood the lyrics, read them again and find the song somewhere and listen to it. It is truly amazing.

Pain (USA) – Antidote Lyrics 20 years ago
Everybody has a parasite, I've got you. This is why I love this band. Telling someone that she is the reason their life is miserable by saying that person is a parasite.

This is one of the better upbeat break up songs you can go for. "Hey, babe, I got a song you need to listen to. I think it represents us to the letter."
"Tony's got a botfly in his forehead...."

Lowest of the Low – Rosy And Grey Lyrics 20 years ago
Well, I've kissed you in France and I've kissed you in Spain
And I've kissed you in places I'd better not name
And I've seen the sun go down on Sacre Coeur
But I like it much better going down on you
Ah, you know that's true because...

These lyrics are great. I just love how they have multiple meanings. Sexual and Literal. "I've kissed you in places I'd better not name," I've seen the sun go down... But I like it much better goign down on you" This is just brilliant. The double meaning on going down on you. and the fact that it could either be the sun going down on you or I. Both can be interpreted as the subject here. It all depends on what "it" means in that line.

Also, Rosy and Grey. These are the colors that people see the world. Rosy is like looking upon the world with rose-colored glasses. Meaning that you don't see all the good and bad. Grey is similar to seeing all the good and bad mixed together at once. You don't see just black and white, but a mixture of the two. This song's title shows being happy, but also seeing the world for what it is.
