Okay believe it or not I've met and spoken to Eric Clapton about this song, and he claims he didn't play on the studio recording at all...According to him George was just overwhelmed by the response to the guitar solo, and chose to shy away from the recognition. Go figure! |

Great Lyric...I think this song speaks of yearning for simpler times and frustration/diillusionmeet with those who go through life blind to things going on around them. There is also an indication of Lennon's own insecurities. |
