Till‘s songs seem to vacillate between the raw and the deep. There are elements of both here. Frequently, his works have multiple meanings. Wordplay is very common as well. The man is a poet so that should not come as any surprise. I agree with the previous commenters thoughts, but I come away with some additional ideas. Bear in mind he frequently likes to say the opposite of what do you mean in an effort to show the ridiculousness or something. Therefore I can’t get away from the idea that he is showing the horrific nature of abortion. This is not a political stance. Till loves children. The end of the video where he picks up the little baby pig sort of sealed the deal for me. Take from this what you will. Remember, nothing is sacred with Till And if you believe this is some sort of true song praising abortion, well I can actually see him laughing that how the jokes on you. This is pure Lindemann. |
