I love the use of "whatever". He says first "I'll see you or I won't, whatever" using whatever as a term of apathy and emotionlessness. Pretending like he doesnt care. Later he uses "whatever" in "I'm yours and that's it, whatever" as an expression meaning no matter what. In contrast to the first whatever, this is the opposite of apathetic, and the most intense and caring part of love. |
