I hear it as a "Come say it to my face" theme. And followed by a "What? Can't hear you say it again." (person stands there in silence and other person says... "Yeah that's what I thought." I LOVE the way he uses the rusty term. Not only is it symbolic for trapped anger (the cage) it's also rusty, meaning that no matter what it won't open for it has rusted over. But now it's time to let go. You've reached your breaking point to where you become fearless and careless. A point to where not even rust can hold you back. |

I'm thinking of a person who boasts about themselves hiding their imperfections. It seems to be wearing on the person and after their done telling them what he/she wants to hear almost revels the truth... "wait". The other person is trying to get it out and tell them it's okay, you don't have to always be perfect and that we're only human type of thing. Trying to get them to reveal their WHOLE selves instead of what people wants them to hear. |
