Rob Zombie – Dragula Lyrics 13 years ago
Yes, but getagrip is on to something as well...

The Dragula was the munster's drag car.... It was the old style where the driver sat behind the rear wheels all the way to the back wall. So maybe slamming into the back of the dragula is just that, slamming into the back when you open the throttle all the way...

I have no idea about RZ buying it....

Quotes are from Faster Pussycat Kill Kill.... This movie was released in 1965
I wonder if there is a reference to a Thunderkiss in the movie.

I like ProfGlitch's explanation with one exception....

I think the "mourners" that are "singin'" are testifying against him and not actually singing songs. To sing is slang for telling all that you know about something.

Steely Dan – My Rival Lyrics 13 years ago
I'd say it's about a cheating girlfriend/spouse. He's driven a long way and now he's waiting around outside the bar until he has a chance to ambush her lover. The lover that was found by the (minimum of 2) detectives. I think that one detective has a scar and the other wears a hearing aid. I think jolly roger refers to the man being a pirate who stole her heart. But he will pay for alienating the affections of the cuckold's girl/spouse. Tiny hand probably refers to this girl whom he has loved so much.

Steely Dan – Hey Nineteen Lyrics 13 years ago
Seems to me that the narrator starts off by telling us of his prowess in college, at his Boston fraternity. As he's gotten older and moved he finds himself 10 years older still after the same young girls. As he tries to talk to her (even though society frowns on this) he finds that she doesn't respond to his musical tastes (maybe Aretha Franklin is even playing on the stereo at the roller rink/bar where they may be talking). I think that what he has survived is marriage. Here he is at 30 and has been able to avoid getting married whereas most others his age are married. Hard times have befallen unwed 30-year-olds like him in regards to 19-year-old girls. I think that the alcohol and drugs are what make tonight a wonderful thing because he gives them to her to be with her.

I have no idea what "please take me along when you slide on down" means. If it is sliding down the bar, she would have to be sliding away from him for him to say this, but if she is sliding away, it would mean she wasn't interested in him. But the drugs get her to be with him, so there is at least some interest in what he has for her. I doubt it is a reference to oral sex.
