Well… this song is about fidelity… but it’s more than that. This is their early sound! This is the first US chart topper that is sang by Paul… after all, John was busy playing the harmonica. It’s beautiful just listening for how their sound progressed. And so, Paul charms his way, by talking women, everywhere, into commitment. So the moral of this story is that coercing others will get you what you want from life. Well… only if you’re good at it. Maybe you should learn how to soulfully play the harmonica, too. |
