I knida just thought of this song meaning what stupid things people will do for money. the verses show that. The Hennipen Crawler choruses are kind of explaning what stupid things people spend their money on. The whole album has overtones of stupidity with money and vices. |

I married my best friend last year we have been together a total of 9 yrs(before we were married). About 6 years ago we went through a really rough time. She broke up with me for 2 months because she was "playing the field". Well in the end we both realized we were meant for each other. I think I heard this song for the first time during that period. This song always takes me back to that time. For me it kinda has this hopless romantic feel to it. At the time I was pretty upset and didn't want to be with her out of stupid resentment, but then I realized I could never loev someone else the way I love her. And she soon came to the same realization. |

I picked this song as my wife's and I song about a month into our relationship. This was our first dance. After I first heard this song I knew that if we were lucky enough to still be together someday and get married this would be our song. And yes just like when first danced to it on our 1 month anniversary and at the wedding I sang it to her.......yep I'm just a little cheesey and this will be the only cheesey post I make just had to. |

Only half of the lyrics are here. Well not to blame anyone there aren't any real concrete lyrics to this song. Just a lot of Les' usual ranting mixed overtop of each other. Great instrumentation throughout though. So if you find meaning to this song.....seek help |

Obviously written for Lars, but this song struck a chrod with me personally. When this song came out it reminded me of a friend of mine who seriously wronged me. All the parts fit except the "you didn't ever make metal buddy..." line. But I could totally relate to Dave on this one. He was good friends with someone at one point and they stabbed him in the back. Everything I told my friend at the time of the incedent that followed our personal falling out sounds VERY much like this. |
