Yeah I think we all're taking his side not her - It's so chauvinist ;) Blahbtch - you've got that! The problem is because they don't speak about it. He's hurt, she's hurt, they love each other, they can forgive themselves but they won't because they both are too scared to open their souls and to talk honestly. Or that might be just my overinterpretation. |

DreamersDisease - great interpretation! Fantastic I must say. But, welI I have an impression that there much more behind this one. I think that during the song he changes his attitude towards her. That at the beggining he's saying exactly what You have written - that she's good, he's bad and so on. But then from the lyrics - you refused to fight - he's blaming her. This relationship meant so much to him, his hurt, but she's just reconsiling to what have happened. She doesn't want to fight problems, she's just letting him go away. And his damn angry now. He'd like to hurt her but he can't since he still loves her. And in the end, he's leaving this statement and he's going away, leaving her with that message. Well it's just what I've understand from those lyrics. What do You think about that? |

Yeah - vermillionslipknot- I totally agree. I think this is kind of "goodbye" song for Scarlet. It's something like - I love you girl, but if you want to go away - it's your choice. It makes him angry but what can he do about that? Definietly love thema so there's a need for cooperation which she doesn't want to do. Well thats sad. But - as you may notice - there is some kind of resignation/running away from trouble - he does not want to see her anymore. Maybe it hurts him so much to see her as the on who does not love him anymore? Beautifull sad song. |
